Mobile Maintenance Service Electrician Location – Middlesbrough, TS1. North East Region Hours – 40 hours per week Company Benefits: Company van (with option to personal use) We pay door to door 23 days holiday rising up to 26 plus BH Employee discounts via Perkbox Access to a virtual GP and access to a health & wellbeing app Training & Development Enhanced overtime rates for weekends, night shifts, and call out allowance We are currently seeking an experienced electrician who can work within well-known commercial environments, carrying out all areas of electrical installation, compliance, maintenance, and remedial tasks. Fire alarm service and maintenance works are required for this position. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across the region. Fire alarm training is provided within our onsite training centre to the successful candidate. As a qualified service electrician, you will: Prioritise workload to ensure that works are completed within allotted time limits. Undertake electrical works as instructed (including portable appliance testing, electrical installation testing, lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, and emergency lighting maintenance, reactive and remedial works). Ensure works are undertaken efficiently, in line with customer SLAs, effecting a first time fix wherever possible. Submit a quotation or request for materials as per customer procedure for any jobs requiring further remedial works. Update site logbooks following visits to keep site compliance records up-to-date. Perform any other duties required by the role. The Electrician will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our clients and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues, with interaction on a professional level, is a key requirement for this position. Skills & Experience: Formal Electrical Qualification such as Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation Good understanding of statutory compliance Valid UK Driving Licence Experience with building management systems Desirable: Experience in working at corporate locations Experience working with fire alarms We’ll provide you with full training once you start and make sure you have everything you need to do a great job.
