About this Apprenticeship
Location: Ely (CB6) Duration: Permanent Hours: 6am until 2:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am until 1pm on a Friday Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35430 Polytec are looking for a CNC Operator for our client based in Ely. Responsibilities:
Load and run a variety of CNC machines Ensure machines are scheduled and loaded to meet demand Unload and hand finish components Assist CNC Programmers to prove out and produce first-off production components Ensure quality of components produced meets requirements Weekly machine maintenance and 5S tasks Requirements:
Working knowledge of Fanuc based vertical milling machines Experience working with micron level precision Machine loading and operation experience Basic understanding of engineering drawings Knowledge of 5-axis milling and Wire EDM would be beneficial Knowledge of multi-pallet, high mix, low volume machining would be helpful Apprenticeship trained or similar experience considered Minimum 3 years' experience in a Machine Shop environment Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
