5D Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading engineering company based in Lincolnshire.
They are market leaders in designing and manufacturing special purpose machinery, with long-lasting agreements with some of the biggest companies all over the world. With a very bright future, they are looking for Electrical Mechanical Fitters to join their ever-growing team.
What the role will involve:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working on container builds. This will include working in a small team to build the container from the ground up. You will be working from engineering drawings, and this role will be an electro-mechanical role with an electrical bias.
Electrically:
Cable running and pulling.
Terminating, glanding, and wiring in cables, which can be heavy, armoured cables that can be the thickness of your arm.
Installing electrical connectors and components, such as resistors and breakers.
Wiring control panels and integrating them into the machine.
Installing various ancillary systems such as lighting, fire alarms, and HVAC controllers.
Mechanically:
Framework.
Copper busbars (heating elements).
Cooling systems and HVAC.
