Our vision includes expanding operations throughout Cumbria, and we are urgently recruiting experienced Fibre Underground Operatives to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose:

The Fibre Underground Operative will play a crucial role in our new operation delivery in the Cumbria region. This field-based role involves working as part of a team to install and maintain underground fibre optic networks, ensuring project targets are met and contributing to the success of the company. Key Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

Perform underground fibre optic cable installations and maintenance across multiple sites in the Cumbria region. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company policies.

Site Operations:

Work collaboratively with team members based out of Kendal and surrounding areas. Adapt to varying site locations and conditions, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times. Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe working practices on all sites.

Equipment and Tools:

Utilize appropriate tools and equipment for fibre installation and maintenance. Perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Training and Development:

Participate in training programs to gain necessary accreditations and enhance skills. Stay updated on industry advancements and company procedures.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

Full UK drivers license and personal transport to access various site locations. NRSWA - Signing, Lighting, and Guarding (SLG) SA002 S007 or K8 & N28 SA006

Previous experience in fibre optic installations and underground operations. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to fibre installation. Additional Company Benefits:
