As a small team, the person will need to demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision, be proactive, and a self-starter. Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools for diagnostics is required, along with the ability to fix faults.

Duties
Working from assembly drawings and building packs. Carrying out fault diagnosis to component level. Testing and diagnosing customer products to company and industry standards. Soldering conventional components. Pre-forming, inserting, and cropping component leads using hand tools such as cutters, pliers, etc. Hand placing surface mount components using SMT soldering. Responsible for the accurate and timely testing and diagnosis of PCB Assemblies in line with specifications and company processes to support production throughput. Knowledge of test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) is essential. Identifying and repairing faults.
Experience / Skills Proven experience in electronics assembly, testing, and repair, with a strong electronics and mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with hand tools used in electronics build, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance tasks. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and customer support. A relevant qualification as a technician or an engineer in electronics or a related field.
