40 hours per week 08:00am – 16:30pm, Monday to Friday. About The Company: They take pride in delivering quality engineering and design solutions that meet the specific requirements of their clients. For more than a decade, the company have been providing exceptional welding and fabrication services, specialising in the manufacturing of aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, and engineering plastics, supported by a wide range of high-specification, precision-driven CNC machinery. About The Role: The company are looking for someone with a keen interest in engineering and manufacturing to join their rapidly expanding business. No previous experience in engineering necessary, all training is provided in house. Duties Include: Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc. Preparing and loading raw materials and parts into the machines. Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements. De-burring and cleaning of finished parts as necessary. Emptying swarf trays as appropriate. Ensuring that every machine procedure is undertaken in accordance with the company guidelines. Ensuring all machines operated throughout the day together with surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times. Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures. Demonstrating a strong team approach ensuring clear communication with colleagues at all levels. Adhering to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).
