Job Purpose: Responsible for the installation and testing of chassis and body electrical control systems in accordance with customer specifications, ensuring the necessary quality standards are maintained and adhered to.

Key Tasks: Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety policy and procedures. Ensure that work carried out meets the Company agreed quality standards and that all quality sign-offs and procedures are complied with. Install the vehicle electrical control system according to the specification requirements detailed in relevant documentation. Install and modify vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in the contract build documentation. Terminate various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC. Test and commission the vehicle electrical system as per Quality Assurance documentation. Fault find and repair the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software. Ensure the installation is completed in accordance with the allocated process time. Be prepared to work overtime when requested by management. Undertake training or retraining associated with the post or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes, including the training of others.

Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
