We have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, professional Facilities Coordinator to join an iconic organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. Working as a key part of the company’s Facilities team, you will ensure that this multi-use and multi-tenanted building is safe and maintained to high standards. With an engaging, positive and professional demeanour at all times, you will provide the highest level of customer service to the site’s tenants and visitors, handling all Facilities related issues in an efficient manner and ensuring the extensive property remains fit for use at all times. A crucial part of this busy Facilities Coordinator position will be overseeing the day-to-day administration and coordination of contractors, suppliers, and maintenance works, including making sure Health and Safety regulations are up to date and that all workers have completed risk assessments. You will be required to assist in the monitoring of reactive calls and proactively chase contractors for speedy resolutions, completing regular reporting for the Facilities Director, always looking for areas to improve the supply chain. To really hit the ground running in this varied and challenging Facilities Coordinator role, you will be of graduate calibre, and ideally have at least two years of experience in a similar Facilities Coordinator or Facilities Administrator position. Strong communication skills will be key as you will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders across the organisation, including contractors and customers. An ability to remain calm under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and utilise your time effectively will all be essential, as will strong attention to detail and a real “roll your sleeves up” attitude.
