We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Fitting Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in assembling and plumbing various systems. This role requires the ability to work with both hand tools and power tools, ensuring that all installations and repairs are completed to the highest standards. The Plumber will also be responsible for heavy lifting and may need to perform welding tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Perform basic maths calculations to ensure accurate measurements and installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects. Handle heavy lifting as necessary during installations or repairs.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge is required, with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Experience in welding is a plus, as it may be necessary for certain projects. A valid driver's licence is essential for travel between job sites.
