Job Description

Seeking an organised and dynamic professional looking to make an impact and fulfil a mixed and varied role within a small team of land, development and planning professionals. Our clients are typically a mix of developers, householders, private individuals, investors, local authorities and landed Estates. The role would suit someone wanting to be part of a small team with a high degree of personal organisation. The duties will include: Taking phone and email enquiries and passing on messages to the appropriate team member. Setting up projects following our internal Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) procedure. Managing the day-to-day operation of our office/equipment and all other areas of administration. Organising meetings and co-ordinating diaries. Helping to keep our clients informed with IT, event and social media updates. Assisting in collating project data. Assisting with client meetings. Assisting with the arrangement of small corporate events. Specific requirements are: Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail. Good written English and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Patient and calming manner, whether helping colleagues or clients. Ability to work flexibly and in a professional manner. Desirable: Developing planning, land or development skills. Assisting senior colleagues with land, market and data searches – mostly IT led. Helping senior colleagues write letters and prepare land and sales particulars. Managing Hawksmoor’s website and social media accounts. Driving licence and occasional use of car for business purposes. Hawksmoor is a very client-facing business, so we are looking for somebody who enjoys helping others and who understands and acts swiftly on instructions. The role sits within a friendly and supportive business where you will have the opportunity to develop your administrative and business support skills with a property focus.
