Custard Space is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team of experts in designing and manufacturing bespoke joinery and specialist furniture. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling cabinets, bookshelves, wardrobes, and other custom-made furniture pieces according to client specifications. Cabinet Maker - Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints or design sketches to determine materials required Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces using hand tools and power tools Select appropriate materials such as wood, hardware, and adhesives based on project requirements Operate woodworking machinery including saws, sanders, drills, and routers Ensure all pieces are accurately aligned, leveled, and secured to meet quality standards Apply finishes such as varnish or paint to completed projects Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure projects are completed within deadlines Cabinet Maker - Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in the woodworking industry Excellent knowledge of woodworking techniques and equipment operation Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints Strong attention to detail with high-quality standards Physical strength for lifting heavy materials Basic math skills for accurate measurements Good communication skills Cabinet Maker - Benefits:
