All Control Panels are custom built to each customer’s individual requirements and specifications and fully tested prior to despatch. In recent years the company has expanded into the Security Services industry and can offer an efficient installation, maintenance and repair services to an extensive range of leading security, access and smartautomation systems.

At Livewire we have a dedicated team of individuals offering a wide range of experience and technical expertise, who are dedicated to identifying customer needs and exceeding expectations. Our aim is to provide a high quality, efficient and professional service, while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

Livewire Technical Services are looking to employ an experienced Electrical Engineer to work with our existing team due to a constant increase in our order book.

Tasks The work will include; (but not be limited too)

Carry out first and second fix installations in Industrial, Commercial & Domestic premises

Installation of containment and cabling to a high standard safely

Termination of different cabling at control panels and distribution boards

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards

Carry out final testing of control system

Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures (using appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safe working procedures)

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes

Conducting routine inspections and diagnostics to identify system issues and provide effective solutions.

All duties must be performed in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years electrical experience, a full driving license and preferably ECS Gold card. Experience and knowledge of Commercial and Industrial installations would be preferential.

We are only looking to employ engineers living within 30 minutes travel to our office at WN8 8EB.

Qualifications and Certification:

ECS Gold Card

18th Edition

2391 Test and Inspection (Desirable)

Ability to understand and work from schematics.

Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology required.

Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Qualification (Essential)

Full Driving Licence (Essential)

IPAF (Desirable)

Skills:

Must be very detailed oriented and strive to achieve high quality results.

Ability to communicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize and adhere to written procedures.

Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of internal and external customers.

Must be willing to work some overtime if the business need arises
