Assistant Design Engineer
Location: Shrewsbury - Based in Main head office, will require travel to Wigan Office Contract: Permanent Salary: £45,000
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Engineer to join the team and support the design, construction, and maintenance of bridge engineering projects. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working under the guidance of senior engineers, assisting with data collection, technical documentation, and basic structural analysis. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of bridge engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection Technical Documentation Basic Structural Analysis Project Support Continuous Learning and Development
Qualifications: Level 3 qualifications relevant to Civil Engineering. Currently pursuing or planning to progress onto advanced qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in bridge engineering or a related field (internship or co-op experience will be considered). Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to travel to site locations as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
