Atom is investing in its data model and management and building our Business Intelligence team that are central to achieving our Data Strategy. As a Junior BI Engineer, you’ll support the development of Atom’s business-wide data culture, support the curation of business intelligence reporting, promote self-service, and ensure the quality of BI and reporting that a rapidly growing business requires. In this role you’ll be provided with support from your coach and peers in the form of pair programming and guidance, whilst given opportunity to complete certifications and further training within Business Intelligence to further your knowledge. This role requires weekly office presence in our North-East office so that we can provide the best possible support in person, this will be on a flexible hybrid basis. You will also: Support the curation and production of core business intelligence and reporting. Support the rollout of business intelligence tooling and self-serve across the business. Work closely with Data Governance to strengthen data management including metadata and lineage. Drive data management automation through collaboration with data science and data engineering. Contribute to a strong data culture within Atom. What do we need from you?

Ideally have a background in Computer Science, STEM or similar field Working experience in a Data Analyst or similar role. Foundational knowledge of data models & databases. An awareness of BI tools and how they can be used. Understanding of how data visualization can be used to influence. Be proactive and possess a self-starter mentality. Have an appetite to learn fast.
