Facilities Coordinator

to assist in the maintenance and day to day running of our Head Office, based at Bournemouth Airport. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will work closely with the Management Team to oversee the general maintenance and functionality of our offices. You will be required to handle a wide range of duties to ensure the smooth running of our building on a day-to-day basis. Person Specification A flexible, resilient and motivated individual with experience of facilities management A proactive person with excellent attention to detail An effective communicator with the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines Someone with strong organisational skills who thrives under pressure in a challenging and dynamic environment A flexible and adaptable team player who goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the business in a timely fashion Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism Ability to work on own initiative and as well as in a team environment Requirements Previous experience working in a similar role Right to live and work in the UK – sponsorship is not available Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle Ability to pass company background checks, including criminal record checks Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Inspecting the building to identify vital services, repairs and maintenance work Proposing and gaining approval for any required work from your line manager Managing building and system emergencies as they arise Managing the car park facility, ensuring it is kept clean and functional Sourcing contractors and suppliers for repairs, maintenance, cleaning, renovations, waste disposal, gardening & cleaning supplies Managing budgets and identifying areas for cost savings Forecasting the future needs of the building Writing maintenance reports Ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols Managing the cleaning team Salary for this position Hours Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week A degree of flexibility is required to meet business need
