Inspection/Testing Electrician (Solar Farms)

My client is happy to take on a Test & Inspect Domestic electrician if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic jobs. Working on Solar Farms is more niche & outside - full training will be provided. Ideally this will be temp/contract/subbing for 3/6 months between 2 farms. Job Responsibilities: Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of PV solar systems according to the latest edition of BS EN and other relevant standards. Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations. Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards. Skills & Qualifications required: Test and Inspect certification (2391 or equivalent). Valid CSCS or ECS card. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work (solar experience is a bonus). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving license is essential. Offers: £200/£220 per day depending on your experience/solar. Working hours: 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, Mon-Thurs; 7am-3, 4, or 5pm on Fridays (depending on workload for the week). Overtime will be paid, with 1x3 weekend work and travel expenses if required. Must have own vehicle/transport to be considered.
