Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including mechanical and electronic design engineers, to create innovative products that push the boundaries of optical technology. Prototype Assembly & Testing:
Engage in hands-on prototype assembly and rigorous testing to ensure the highest standards of product performance and reliability. Customer Engagement:
Clearly and effectively present design results and technical information to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction. What We're Looking For Education:
A degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field is required. A PhD in a relevant discipline is a strong advantage. Expertise:
A broad knowledge base in fibre-optics, photonics, and related technologies is essential. Experience with high-power fibre lasers/amplifiers, non-linear optics, photonic integrated circuits, or acousto-optics is highly desirable. Independence:
A self-starter with the ability to independently drive projects forward, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Additional Skills:
Experience in the design and development of fibre-optic and free-space transmission systems (analogue, digital, coherent) is a plus.
