Aotea Security Canterbury requires the services of a number of installation and servicing technicians to join our rapidly growing, progressive and innovative team in Christchurch. Core duties will involve installing and servicing alarms, access, and CCTV (IP and analogue) systems for our clients throughout the South Island. Remuneration will be in line with your skill set. This will include: a vehicle, laptop, phone, continual training, and a competitive salary with O/T.
Experience
Knowledgeable with software-based access control and intruder systems a pre-requisite. Integriti, Gallagher, Protégé knowledge is required. Considerable experience with security, CCTV, and access control. Knowledgeable with Tecom, Paradox, DSC, Bosch, Micron, and other basic panels an advantage. Skill
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Adept at reading and interpreting technical documentation and plans. Strong interpersonal skills and oral communication skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. A high standard of quality. Highly self-motivated and directed. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Qualifications
2 Years minimum commercial experience in both Security and CCTV installations. Integriti experience preferred. Gallagher experience preferred. Protégé WX experience preferred. Current Security Guard’s Licence/ Police clearance. Current Driver's Licence. No criminal or civil convictions or record.
