We are recruiting a Technical Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at our Warrington office. Working in close collaboration with the Scheduler, the Technical Coordinator ensures our Service Technicians have the correct materials, equipment and instructions they need to repair or upgrade customers' equipment and can perform the work safely before they attend a customer's site. The role of Technical Coordinator is well-suited to those with an engineering background, perhaps being previously in a practical role and looking to retain those skills being more office-based with regular hours. Having previous hands-on engineering experience will provide essential knowledge to what's required in the field when attending a service/maintenance-related call. You will report to the Operations Manager. Main responsibilities will include:

Review Service Requests and related paperwork for accurate descriptions, reviewing estimated hours/costs to ensure they are achievable, and consulting with the Operations Manager or Field Supervisor. Using our in-house system, Siebel, complete and monitor all the relevant documentation and activity relating to the Service Requests. Update start and completion dates in Siebel based on anticipated delivery of materials, and monitor the delivery of materials, updating team members and goods receipt when not automatically done by the system. Ensure the technical planning of the work enables delivery in achieving estimated sales revenue. Regularly review with the Scheduler based on Period Performance Report. Participate within the regular WIP meetings and implementation of actions. Ensure adherence to company warranty processes ensuring cost-effective solutions. Ensure that all work planning follows our Life Saving Behaviours and customer-specific site safety instructions, including written safety documentation. Provide remote support to Field Operatives in relation to the planned work activities. What we are looking for in you:

Applicable technical qualification in electrical/mechanical or higher engineering qualification. Experience working in an engineering field. Customer-oriented working both with customers and colleagues. Safety-first attitude with a broad understanding of Health & Safety legislation. Understanding of profit and loss. Priority-focused.
