A Globally backed Manufacturer/Supplier are looking for a Quality Technician to join the team at their brand new facility in Tewkesbury. You will be a flexible and versatile Quality Technician/Quality Inspector with a strong technical background & a history ideally within the Defence or Aerospace sector or any highly regulated Manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity with a company who work with some of the biggest clients in the world, to progress and develop within their business.

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire Salary:

£32,000 per annum + pension + benefits + 26 days Holiday (plus bank holidays)

The key responsibilities of the Quality Technician role will be:

Inspection and Testing:

Perform visual and mechanical tests on materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and quality reports. Document any deviations from quality standards. Troubleshooting:

Identify quality issues or defects in materials and products. Work with the production team to implement corrective actions. Compliance:

Ensure that products comply with relevant quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Root Cause Analysis:

Participate in investigations when quality issues arise and collaborate with engineering or production teams to determine the root cause of the problem. Report:

Report into the Quality Manager as required.

The key requirements of the Quality Technician will be: Candidate should have a proven track record in the Aerospace/Defence sector. Willing to be flexible and versatile with a growing company. Experienced with communicating with internal and external stakeholders. History of attention to detail, root cause analysis and inspection.
