We are recruiting for a unique FIFO role based in Tuvalu. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter who wants to gain some inimitable experience. You will be tasked with repairing and maintaining large scale machinery, including 12T to 50T excavators, loaders, and ADT's. The ideal candidate can read and follow plans independently and has a keen eye for detail.
In this role, you will work on a wide range of machinery, challenging the full range of your skills. Often working with somewhat limited supplies, as shipping parts to remote regions in Tuvalu can take time. Thinking on your feet and the ability to work on a wide range of machinery is key. Knowledge in marine-based equipment, hydraulics, electrics, dredging, or GPS setup and maintenance is invaluable.
