Are you a skilled AV Architect experienced in videowall and Audio Visual over Internet Protocol (AVoIP) solutions? Our client, a leader in the Utilities industry, is seeking a talented and motivated AV Architect to join their team. With a focus on connecting people to energy safely, reliably, and efficiently, our client is committed to modernising their control centre and enhancing their utility infrastructure. This is a temporary contract opportunity for 6 months.

Duration:

6 Months (extension options)

Location:

Warwick (2 days in the office)

Rate:

£650 to £700 per day (umbrella)

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to understand business requirements and technical specifications for videowall and AVoIP solutions. Design and architect videowall systems, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and optimal performance. Develop architectural designs, system configurations, and implementation plans, considering factors such as technology compatibility and user requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. Ensure technology solutions meet cyber security standards and relevant industry regulations. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify challenges and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate hardware and software components. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solution Architect specialising in videowall and AVoIP solutions. In-depth knowledge of videowall technologies, AVoIP protocols, and integration principles. Experience in designing and implementing videowall systems for control centres. Proficient in system architecture design, network infrastructure, and security considerations. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Project management experience and ability to prioritise tasks. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
