Assistant Quantity Surveyor

to join our industry-leading Term Maintenance division working on our established Camden contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join FM Conway, as we are a staple of the UK’s road network, providing London with a high-quality service to ensure our roads and public spaces run smoothly and safely. Working on high-profile projects, you will play an integral part in our commercial team, empowering decisions and advising accordingly. This is a permanent full-time position based from our Mandela Way office in Central London. The duties of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role will include: Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with costs value analysis for all aspects of Term Maintenance works. Performing risk, value management and cost control activities for the benefit of the contract. Providing advice on the procurement strategy, to include cost value analysis and procurement of subcontractors. Carrying out site measures and agreeing with the client. Valuing work within various management software and arranging invoice and payment applications to clients, and payments to subcontractors. Monitoring and reporting forecast against actual costs and value throughout the programme of activities; to include site visits where required. Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor ensuring monthly CVR deadlines are met. What skills and experience do you need? We are looking for an

with excellent communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work alone when required. You will have experience within Term Maintenance and ideally knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
