We are working with a local authority based in Warwickshire who are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Damp and Mould Surveyor for an interim position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in surveying to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of housing stock within the local community. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections and surveys to identify and assess damp and mould issues within residential properties. Provide detailed reports on the severity of damp and mould issues, recommending appropriate remediation actions. Advise property owners, tenants, and management on the best course of action to resolve identified problems. Work with a team of contractors and other professionals to ensure that all necessary repairs are carried out effectively and promptly. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards. Collaborate with the local authority and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of housing quality. Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in damp and mould surveying or related fields. Relevant qualifications such as CSRT (Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatment), CSSW (Certified Surveyor of Structural Waterproofing), CRBS (Certified Remedial Building Surveyor), or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of building construction, property maintenance, and environmental factors affecting damp and mould. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, property owners, and colleagues. Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with local authority processes and housing management systems. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of properties. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. How to Apply:
