Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold), some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.), standing for full shift, strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.), will work with hazardous/toxic materials. Job Description In this role you may complete some or all of the following duties: Operate processing and packaging equipment, including filling machines, labellers, and packing equipment. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials to assure batches manufactured contain accurate materials and quantities. Perform in-process sampling. Follow all safe practices and standard works and carry out daily safety checks. Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements and standard operating procedures. Maintain equipment and rooms in proper operating condition and cleanliness requirements. Perform activities in controlled environments with the use of LEV controls. May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned. Hours of Work Flexibility is a MUST. 8 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week (30 minutes unpaid break). Shifts could be days, mornings, afternoons, or nights. Education: 5 GCSE's at grade C or equivalent (desirable). Manufacturing qualifications are also desirable. Experience: General understanding of manufacturing and experience in the industry is required. Strong attention to detail is required. Experience working with a strong focus on quality of product is required. Knowledge of computer applications and current software is desirable. Physical and Environmental Requirements: Work in a controlled manufacturing environment; required to lift up to 25 kg and may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to work safely with materials and equipment. Flexibility in shifts and hours may be required. Various levels of personal protective equipment are required to be worn.
