CRL Foods is looking to add an Assistant Technical Manager to the team to support the company in its next stage of growth. Reporting into the Technical Manager, the main focuses will be enhancing existing processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and building continuous improvement throughout the business. Key responsibilities: · Deputise for the Technical Manager and their key responsibilities · Management of customer complaints · Management of customer portals – specifications etc · Manage supplier approval including ingredients and packaging specs · Manage site environmental · Oversee pest control visits · Review product micro performance · New starter inductions · Allergen management · Internal audits · Continuous review of quality and technical business processes with process improvement and efficiencies in mind. · Other ad-hoc projects, requests and duties across the business as required. You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have: · A personality that fits with the company’s mantra: Curiosity, Expectation, Urgency. · Prior experience of working within a similar role ideally within an SME environment. · Manufacturing experience essential. · A flexible approach to support business needs and meet deadlines. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Looking for the opportunity for career growth into the company’s future lead on Technical.
