Irrigation Electrical/Mechanical Technician WaterForce is a leading irrigation and pumping company with branches throughout New Zealand. We have a full-time technician position available in our Ashburton operation. Key responsibilities: Servicing of centre pivot and lateral irrigators On-site technical problem solving Identification of maintenance works on irrigators General service work, assisting other staff Irrigation system commissioning Available for call outs including weekend work The ideal applicant will have the following: Physically fit Honest and hardworking Well organized, practical and methodical Able to work unsupervised, as well as with a team Ability to get the job done (able to work extra hours when necessary) Good mechanical aptitude Clean New Zealand driver's license Experienced in irrigation and pump installations/operation preferred, but not essential The position provides variation, flexibility, and the opportunity to work within a company with great people and progressive customers. The successful applicant could be a registered electrician, hold an EST practising license, or be someone who is looking to further their knowledge in this field. Industry training as required will be provided to assist the successful applicant with this position.
