Job Opportunity: Mechanical Fitter
Location: South East region
Salary: Up to £42,000 plus van
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team, primarily working in the water industry across the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
Dismantle and inspect mechanical equipment (pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.). Diagnose faults using state-of-the-art tools. Repair and refurbish equipment to top standards. Install and remove equipment on-site, tackling unique environments like confined spaces, heights, and water/sewerage systems. Work across industries with a focus on the water sector.
Ideal Candidate Profile: At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Fitting (Apprenticeship a plus!). Full UK driving licence. Understanding of on-site health & safety rules. Confined space and water hygiene knowledge (training available). Team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
