Our client has an opportunity for a qualified electrician to join their team. Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and installation of electrical systems and components in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations, inspections, and testing, and electrical fault finding. Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Conduct electrical inspections and testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address and resolve maintenance issues. Travel to other company sites to perform maintenance duties and ensure consistent maintenance standards across all locations. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergencies. Participate in preventative maintenance programs to enhance the reliability and longevity of equipment and systems. Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as an Installation Electrician or Maintenance Electrician. Certification to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, inspections, and testing. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license. Have a minimum of 1-day first aid training course. Please note this is a temporary full-time position with the potential to turn into a permanent role for the right candidate. This role will be subject to a full disclosure check. Overtime and on-call are also offered at an enhanced rate.
