About the team
IMA's Experience Retail Creative are a team of experts, re-thinking retail by creating meaningful and memorable brand experiences in both the digital and physical world.
Summary of the role
We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our team. You will have a passion for crafting thoughtful narratives and an ability to weave compelling stories across a variety of mediums, from brand films to retail experiences. You will work closely with our design team to create physical spaces and events, as well as social and digital campaigns for major brands.
You will write engaging and inspiring long-form copy, captions, content scripts, and campaign lines. You’ll be part of the creative team responsible for best-in-class work, strengthening our visions through your excellence with words, eye for a story, and imagination. You’ll also need to write powerful strategic propositions.
You’ll work closely with our design team, day-to-day Creative Directors, Designers, and Art Directors – helping execute and deliver work in unison with the production team, client services, and the clients themselves. Together we’ll translate briefs into work that fulfills our internal ambitions and gets people talking.
We’re searching for a forward-thinking Copywriter and strategic thinker, a willing collaborator who can verbally communicate ideas and the ideas of others, bridging the gap between strategy, creative, and editorial.
Some responsibilities of the Copywriter role will include:
Contributing to proposals and pitches
Writing scripts and stories for advertising, brand strategy, digital engagement, and product presentation
Brand writing for our clients, including brand strategy, tone of voice and messaging guidance, narrative and comms strategies, taglines, editorials, and boilerplates
Collaborating with IMA creatives, external agencies, and partners to shape Tone of Voice guides and messaging frameworks
Writing content for, and content guidelines for social communications
Crafting case studies
Research and qualitative analysis
