Level : 4 Department:

Quilter Financial Advisers Location : East Anglia, United Kingdom (Such as; Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge etc.) OR Newcastle/Durham or into Scotland (At a push north of Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc.) and Midlands (Such as; Birmingham, Worcester, Wolverhampton) Contract type : Permanent, Full-Time The Sales Manager holds a key function for the new self-employed Adviser to QFA. In their first year with the National business, the SM will act as their line manager, business coach, and role model to prepare them for integration into the regional team structure. Getting advisers productive in that period is key to an adviser being able to thrive with Quilter by building a strong business. They will carry out many of the functions that the current Regional Directors have, but on a much more intensive basis, with a smaller span of control allowing for more time to be spent with the individual. The role holder responsibilities will include, leading by example, demonstrating, then coaching an adviser through all the key elements to creating the foundations needed. The SM will meet regularly with their advisers, give them hands-on support including demonstrating, observing client meetings and coaching the valuable skills successful advisers need to have. To that end it is a field-based role. While we make use of the technology when it is appropriate, it will be time spent in the field with the adviser that will have the most impact, so there will be travel involved, and on occasion this will include overnights due to geography.
