Due to expansion, my client is looking for a Leading Mechanical Engineer with focus on assembling high-precision machinery. The ideal candidate will be experienced in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of complex mechanical systems and components. This position demands attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a small team of Mechanical Fitters. Utilize various tools and techniques ensuring the functionality of the machinery. Conduct inspections and functional tests on assembled equipment to ensure it meets performance and quality standards. Identify and resolve assembly issues, making necessary adjustments or modifications. Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, inspections, and any deviations from standards. Collaborate with design engineers, production staff, and quality assurance teams to solve technical challenges. Provide feedback on design improvements to enhance manufacturability and ease of assembly. Assist in developing and refining assembly procedures, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and product quality. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies, such as CNC machining or additive manufacturing. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Certification in mechanical assembly or related fields. Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 3 years of experience in a similar field. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and assembly techniques. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with precision measurement tools. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Skilled at identifying root causes of defects and providing effective solutions. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to mentor and guide junior team members in assembly techniques. High level of precision and accuracy in all assembly and testing tasks. Benefits:
