Our client is excited to be recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Fitter to be based within their engineering team at their Low Voltage switchgear facility in Boldon Colliery. Our facility designs and manufactures HV/LV packaged substations, low voltage electrical switchboards, power distribution units, motor control panels, and final power distribution and control equipment that are type tested and verified to BSEN standards.
Role
Build modular steelwork systems. Installation of electrical components (e.g., circuit breakers & fuse-switches). Inspect & record your work activities. Attend and contribute to regular team briefings. Assist in the company's safety efforts by maintaining a good level of housekeeping and always considering health & safety.
Experience
Skilled in the use of hand & power tools. Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.
