Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that a leading client of ours within the Engineering Industry is now in the market for a Maintenance Electrician to join them at their HQ! The client is a well-established, leading figure within the Trailer Manufacturing industry, having been in business since 1979! They specialize in the manufacture and assembly of cutting-edge trailers and are a well-recognized leader in this space. Due to their busy nature and consistent growth year on year, they are now looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join them!
This is a full-time position paying £40k per year!
The client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in building maintenance and a valid 18th Edition Certificate to work across three sites, all within a mile of each other, who can carry out preventive maintenance!
Job Duties include:
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems in line with 18th Edition regulations.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime for the buildings’ operations across all sites.
Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems as needed.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
Accurately document maintenance activities and updates on electrical equipment across multiple sites.
The type of candidates they're looking for has:
Valid 18th Edition certification is essential.
Proven experience in building maintenance, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to work safely at all times.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to travel between sites (all within a 1-mile radius) and respond to urgent issues as required.
