Machine Setter Huddersfield Hours: 6-2 / 2-10 Rotating Salary: £32,436 PA Exciting Opportunity in Huddersfield! Major Recruitment's Technical Division is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing manufacturing client in Huddersfield, seeking to hire a Machine Setter. Join the team in ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating the following machinery: Power presses 16 - 32 ton Rolling, threading machines Cap lining machines Gang slitting machines Machine Setter Key Accountabilities: Change over production lines in an efficient and safe way. Set the parameters of the equipment to achieve the right quality standards. Adjust presses, rolling machines, slitters, and transport mechanisms when a problem might be developing. Identify tooling issues and work with team members to resolve them. Participate in improvement activities. Support and advise the production Supervisor in planning change-over activities. Promote good manufacturing practices and safe behavior. Assist in training Senior Operators to adjust equipment. Work with team members to improve the effectiveness of change-over processes.
