We are recruiting Manufacturing Technicians to help establish an onsite production facility for a ground-breaking EV charging business. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building technology that will shape the future of EV infrastructure in the UK About the Role of Manufacturing Technician: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be at the heart of our assembly line, ensuring the precise and efficient construction of high-powered EV charging stations. You’ll work with a team to set up, operate, and maintain the new production facility, applying rigorous attention to detail and quality to every step of the process. Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Technician: Assemble, test, and troubleshoot high-power electrical components for EV chargers Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate assembly Assist in the setup and optimisation of production lines, including the integration of tools, equipment, and safety measures Conduct quality checks on assembled products and ensure compliance with all safety and industry standards Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing efficiency About the ideal Manufacturing Technician candidate: Experience in electrical or mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Control panel wiring would be very applicable Familiarity with high-voltage safety protocols (training will be provided if required) Detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset
