Reporting to the O&M Manager, you will: Perform routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems. Fault-find on both AC and DC systems, including AC distribution boards, combiner boxes, automation panels, and central inverters. Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations. Provide detailed site visit reports via the online reporting system. Occasionally travel overnight or work weekends on a rota basis (with additional pay). Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as per the annual plan and operational needs. Maintain accurate records of electrical testing suitable for audit. Comply with all fire, health, and safety requirements and attend relevant training. Professional Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following: Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations. C&G 2382-18 and C&G 2391-52 or equivalent (Test & Inspect). HV AP qualification. Knowledge of maintenance procedures, AC/DC electrical systems, and high-voltage systems (33kV). Previous utility scale solar experience or commercial SCADA systems are desirable (training provided if required). Personal Skills
