Our client, a food producer in Cambridge, is looking for licensed 309A OR 442A Electricians to join their team on the

Afternoon shift , Monday to Friday from 3:30pm - 11:30pm AND

Night shift,

Sunday – Thursday, from 11:30pm – 7:30am! Come join the growing team at this production facility and be the recipient of an

hourly rate between $40.00 - 43.00/hour ! There is also a shift premium for Night Shift of $0.75 per hour for the hours between 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Candidates MUST be licensed electricians! Qualifications: Must hold one of the two primary electrician licenses in Ontario: a Construction and Maintenance

309A

license or an Industrial Electrician

442A Proven experience as an electrician Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Strong PLC programming knowledge required Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician Must hold a valid license to practice profession Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to bend, twist, stand and lift up to 50lbs in the course of daily work Responsibilities: Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning Install or program computer hardware or machine or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems Consult with mechanics to ensure that electromechanical equipment or systems meet design specifications Routine preventative maintenance of high-speed production equipment Troubleshooting and repair manufacturing and production equipment to minimize line downtime and optimize production quality and efficiencies Carry out PLC troubleshooting and programming changes as required Participate in continuous improvement projects and complete assigned work orders according to PM schedules to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety Involved with equipment installations and modifications as required Work in a safe manner ensuring all safety procedures are followed and ensuring compliance with legislation and electrical standards Report any issues to maintenance planning coordinator immediately Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment Adhere to food safety and GMP requirements while performing maintenance tasks to ensure safety and quality If you have the skills and experience listed above AND you hold an
