Prime Appointments are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a busy precision engineering company based on the outskirts of Ipswich. You will get the opportunity to work within the Aerospace and Automotive industry as well as receive brilliant opportunities for training and development.
As a CNC Turner you will be required to: Programme and operate CNC Lathes to produce high quality precision components Work proactively to maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within the workshop Interpret and work from technical drawings and engineering plans, making adjustments as needed to achieve the best results Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, identifying and resolving any issues to minimise downtime Skills Required: Proven experience working with CNC Turning machines A solid understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to read technical drawings Experience with milling processes would be an advantage but not essential Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively If you feel like you meet the above criteria & would like to be considered for this CNC Machinist opportunity, please apply with your CV and contact Lauren at Prime Appointments for a confidential chat.
