To machine components to technical drawings and specifications. Duties and Responsibilities: Set-up and operate CNC Machines. Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures. Self-inspection of your own work. Preventative and General maintenance checks. Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times. Competencies: Read and understand engineering drawings. Ability to set and operate CNC Machines – Milling. Ability to edit and prove out CNC Programs. Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc). Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances. Good attention to detail. Strong team player with a can-do attitude. Must be self-motivated. Accountabilities and Performance Measures: Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program. Excellent timekeeping and attendance. Job Requirements: Previous experience within the Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not essential. Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC Machines. Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.
