We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a major water treatment project in Oswestry. As a key part of the project, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems associated with water treatment facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project while working with cutting-edge technology and a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, pumps, valves, and other equipment within the water treatment plant. Work with engineering drawings and specifications to ensure installations are completed to the highest standards. Perform routine inspections and diagnostic checks to identify and resolve mechanical issues. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure project milestones are met. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably within the water treatment or utilities sector. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, and valves. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Health and safety awareness, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Valid CSCS card (or equivalent) and relevant industry qualifications.
