But to keep our business ahead, we need a crack team of Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to service and maintain our fleet. We’re looking for an experienced HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join us at our site in Rochester. You’ll work 45 hours per week on a Monday to Friday day shift, working alternating early and back shifts, and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe. Pay, benefits and more. We’re looking to offer a competitive salary of up to £44K, plus shift allowance and overtime. What you’ll do on a typical day: Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs Diagnose faults on vehicles Work on Rigids, Tractors and Trailers Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage What you need to succeed at XPO: Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as NVQ A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable) Be part of something big XPO is a leading provider of world-class solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
