Monday - Thursday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (44 hours per week, including a 1-hour break each night) Rate:
Starting at GBP20 per hour, plus a 25% night shift allowance Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist Operate and set up HAAS 3-axis vertical machining centers (VF2 to VF9 models). Program machines for producing specific component parts as needed. Ensure components are manufactured within tolerance according to technical drawings. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed. Key Skills & Experience of the CNC Machinist Proficiency in setting and operating HAAS milling machines; programming experience is a plus. Familiarity with relevant inspection and measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong understanding of health and safety in an engineering environment. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed. Excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of 4th and 5th axis operations is advantageous. Minimum:
City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline (desirable).
