CNC Miller
Shifts - Days and Nights (2 weeks about, 38 hrs per week)
Salary: £40k basic PLUS overtime paid at time and a half or double time - £50k+ achievable.
Shift rate: £17.50 days / £23.25 nights; average hourly rate on days and nights shift is £20.35.
Our exclusive client is a leading provider of sub-contract precision engineering services to the Oil & Gas, Defence, Aerospace, Nuclear, and Renewables sectors. Their highly skilled workforce delivers precision machined parts, kits, and assemblies to multi-national OEMs across the globe, with long-term relationships (20yrs+) that testify to the quality of their work.
They now have an urgent requirement for an experienced CNC Miller to join them at their manufacturing site in the Kilmarnock area.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate skills and experience as an Apprentice trained / Time served CNC Miller. Programmer Setter Operators or skilled Setter Operator. Experience with Fanuc controls (others considered). Machining exotic materials like Inconel and duplex. Work to very tight tolerances from engineering drawings. Handle complex one-offs and small batch work.
