Shift Pattern:

Part time, 20 hours a week

You will be working in a well-known retail store which holds various stock, some of which may be of high value such as meat and alcohol. Due to this, we are looking for a confident candidate who can monitor and deter theft, provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, as well as provide safety and security to both staff and visitors alike. The right candidate must have a friendly approach, however have the ability to support and act in the appropriate manner in all situations.

Your main responsibilities may include:

Patrolling the Retail Store Premises. Follow ASCONE. Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store. Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices. Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations. Provide exceptional customer service.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

Minimum of 6 months' experience in security is a must. Ideally being in retail is preferred, however not essential. SIA License. Be confident, outgoing, friendly, and willing to learn. 5-year checkable work/career history. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage. Physically fit to undertake given tasks. Possess the ability to work under pressure.
