As Adviser Propositions Lead, you’ll be a crucial member of the Adviser Propositions Team, and in turn, join the wider Commercial Propositions Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team responsible for the design, development and management of the Quilter Adviser value proposition and experience. Delivering against adviser needs and offering a great experience for all advisers who engage with Quilter to generate shareholder value, using our collective expertise to enable more compelling and value-adding adviser propositions, faster and more efficiently.
Reporting to the Adviser Propositions Manager and working alongside the wider Adviser Proposition Team, you will work closely with Financial Advisers, firms both inside Quilter and in the open market, and with the wider Quilter business to build engaging relationships, exploit advice opportunities and increase adoption of Quilter’s propositions. Your key focus will be making sure that Quilter’s adviser propositions offer true added value to end-customers, advisers and can fit seamlessly into the way that advisers offer their services.

The Adviser Propositions Lead role is crucial in ensuring that we continue to innovate and improve what we do, the experience we provide, and provide valuable engagement with the wider Quilter business, advisers and customers. The role will be responsible for identifying and leading on opportunities to design, develop, deliver and deploy Quilter’s adviser propositions to enhance adviser experience, improve advice processes and ensure customers are at the core of all financial planning propositions.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a clear understanding of Quilter’s competitive position.
Gathering and interpretation of adviser requirements/desires through proactive adviser and industry engagement.
Management and support of existing adviser proposition.
Support and delivery of future propositional development (including wealth, protection & mortgage), competitive differentiation and take to market plans including new capabilities for advisers within platform and investments.
Support of Quilter’s Independent Distribution proposition (platform services, adviser tooling, CIP/CRP, inter-generational wealth, fee collections and disclosures, adviser MI etc.).
Engaging and working collaboratively with the wider Commercial Propositions Team, proposition stakeholders such as Distribution, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Operations, as well as advisers both internally within Quilter and externally.
About You You’ll have a strong understanding of the rules and regulatory requirements of advice businesses and be able to identify and assess the impact of both actual and future changes to the adviser market.
You’ll have a good understanding of how advice businesses operate, the advice process and the rules and regulations governing this. You’ll also have good knowledge of the advice & platform markets, competitors, and products.
You’ll have good stakeholder management and relationship building as well as the ability to collaborate and deliver through other teams.
You’ll have the drive, energy and willingness to engage with colleagues across Quilter and the wider industry to develop valuable relationships.
You’ll have the ability to work independently and be empowered to make decisions with sufficient justification or escalate where appropriate.
You’ll hold the Level 4 professional qualification in financial planning or have equivalent business experience.
