Job Purpose: Act as a crucial team manager with responsibility for the Sales department. This is a key sales position focused on delivering the sales budget, prospecting for new customers, winning sales orders, and developing a weighted sales pipeline to capitalise on the marketing opportunity. Main Duties

Act as coach and mentor, to develop sales skills. Responsible for setting and delivering the departmental budget. Manage key accounts. Create an inspiring group environment with an open communication culture. Drive exemplary customer service for new and existing customers. Keep up to date on team activities, identifying problems and taking decisive and early corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and metrics and regularly audit work completed. Address any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally. Exceed Sales targets. Prospect for, researching and sourcing potential business opportunities and contacts. Develop and maintain business relations with integrators. Follow up leads and identifying new sales opportunities. Set up and attend customer meetings. Prepare professional presentations and speaking at industry events. Prepare and submit formal business tenders and proposals. Build strong relationships and liaise with the group organisation. Lead the Sales Department. Essential Professional Qualities

Educated to bachelor's degree level in a relevant field. Desirable to have a formal management qualification (e.g. Level 5 CMI or similar). A strong sales management background. A Sales training or business development qualification is desirable. A track record of success in solutions selling to industrial customers. A demonstrably thorough understanding of the market with previous experience. Successful in tendering competitions. Willing (experienced) to spend time away from home when the business requires it. Strong attention to detail with numeric and grammatical skills. Strong technical awareness and exposure to key technologies, with specific strength in solving customer problems with technical solutions. Culturally aware of market and customers. Commercial and competitor knowledge to analyse market data and identify new opportunities. If you feel as though your experience is in line with the above, please apply.
