ASA are currently recruiting for a User Researcher to join their Public Sector client based in Edinburgh.
About the Role
As a User Researcher, you'll:
Plan, design, and execute user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and challenges.
Utilise various research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
Partner with service designers and business analysts to transform user insights into actionable strategies.
Advocate for user needs, ensuring they remain central to project decisions.
Collaborate with the project team to align with Digital Scotland Service Standard (DSSS) criteria and principles.
Document and communicate research findings to guide the development of user-focused solutions.
Support the creation of personas, user journeys, and scenarios to inform design.
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated expertise in user research within digital transformation projects.
Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Understanding of the Digital Scotland Service Standard and its use in government initiatives.
Exceptional skills in communication and engaging with stakeholders.
Experience collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Additional Information
Edinburgh based with hybrid working available.
6 month contract.
Outside IR35.
