Location: England - remote - you need to be able to travel easily to central England

Salary: £50k-£70k plus 30% commission, car allowance, pension, personal healthcare

Role:

As Business Development Manager for clinical waste, you will be responsible for promoting and selling waste management services to the Clinical and Healthcare market. This includes hospitals, care homes, pharmaceutical companies, and all other potential clinical hazardous waste producers.

Your primary goal is to develop new business opportunities in the market, identify and target potential clients within the healthcare sector, and develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

There will also be a portion of time devoted to inside sales and building on the existing customer base, including upselling and cross-selling. You will be responsible for delivering transformational, profitable growth with some of the UK’s largest and most complex industrial businesses.

My client delivers a great customer experience and creates the best possible solutions to the problems their customers face when managing their waste, reducing their environmental impact, and improving their green credentials.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a proactive, problem-solving sales hunter who maximizes sales, revenue, and profitability. Using excellent organizational and relationship management skills, you will ensure a class-beating customer experience while seeking opportunities for delivering added value for clients and profitable growth.

Other Essential Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Word and Excel Proven Account Management skills Sales / Retention experience

Desirable Skills: Knowledge of waste handling practices

Knowledge: Experience in Waste Management is desirable, particularly Clinical and Hazardous Waste. This can include General Waste & Recycling knowledge and experience.
