The role We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our supportive team. Based at our Birkenhead SA operations office. This Full-Time fixed term opportunity will see you assisting in the day to day processing of creditors invoices/payments along with resolving customer queries both internally & externally. Responsibilities Improve process and procedures, with a mindset of curiosity for what could be changed for the better Perform end to end Accounts Payable function including OCR technology Processing of high volume invoices in three-way matching Assisting with monthly reporting Reconciling supplier statements Excellent and effective communication skills with external and internal stakeholders Ability to learn new skills and work within a busy team environment Discipline in following procedures and processes What you will need to succeed Good communication & interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with external and internal stakeholders. Strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a team and autonomously. Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills and willingness to go the extra mile will see you excel in this position Demonstrated experience in SAP or other larger ERP systems Excellent reconciliation skills, and keen eye for detail Intermediate skills in the use of MS Excel and Outlook Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role is advantageous What we offer Onsite parking.
